HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Light snow showers and sleet will eventually turn over to cold rain this afternoon, high temps will be in the upper 30s with a light wind.
As temperatures fall tonight, wet roads may refreeze and black ice may form… please use caution travelling on the roadways and watch icy spots on bridges and overpasses. Snow flurries may linger into the evening hours with clouds sticking around, lows will be very chilly in the middle to upper 20s.
Slippery roads may be possible again for the morning commute on Tuesday. The sun will be out and shining for Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 40s.
Slightly warmer and more seasonal air will return for Thursday and Friday with high temps in the low to middle 50s, an isolated rain shower or two can pop-up on Friday evening. Next weekend is looking cooler again but dry with highs in the middle 40s.
