Cold 20s overnight with black ice possible on roads Tuesday morning

Cold rain and sleet will gradually dissipate this evening as the moisture moves off to the northeast, a few lingering snow flurries will be possible.

As temperatures fall below freezing after midnight, wet roads may refreeze and black ice may form… please use caution travelling on the roadways and watch icy spots on bridges and overpasses. Overnight lows will be very chilly in the middle to upper 20s to start the day on Tuesday. Slippery roads may be possible for the morning commute on Tuesday, please allow extra time heading out the door.

The sun will be out and shining for Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 40s. Slightly warmer and more seasonal air will return for Thursday and Friday with high temps in the low to middle 50s, an isolated rain shower or two can pop-up on Friday evening.

Next weekend is looking cooler again but dry, highs in the middle 40s.
