MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. (WAFF) - A man from Morgan County was arrested in Washington, D.C. Wednesday when the U.S. Capitol was breached.

70-year-old Lonnie Coffman faces the following charges: Carrying a Pistol Without a License, Unregistered Firearm, and Unregistered Ammunition.

Coffman was one of 14 people arrested in Washington, D.C. Wednesday.

A spokesperson with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office says they have no records of any interactions with a Lonnie Coffman.

A spokesperson with the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office has pistol permit records for a Lonnie Coffman, but no criminal history or records of arrest.

On Friday, NBC Investigative Reporter Seth McFarlane reported Coffman is accused of having 11 Molotov cocktails in his vehicle near the Capitol building.
