FLORENCE, Ala. (WAFF) - One hospital in North West Alabama is starting the new year with a new name.
According to our news partners at the Times Daily, Shoals Hospital is now North Alabama Shoals Hospital. It’s part of a bigger rebranding project across the entire North Alabama Medical Center ownership group.
The hospital’s CEO says it’s important for folks to recognize facilities that are interconnected and new names and logos will be appearing at several of them in coming weeks.
Physician practices affiliated with North Alabama Medical Center by mid-January will also have new signage and logos, according to Russell Pigg, the CEO of North Alabama Medical Center.
“By bringing our hospitals and outpatient centers together under a shared brand, we better represent the breadth and depth of our services to the Shoals community,” he said.
