HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - UPDATE: The Decatur Police Department confirms one person has died following a car crash that happened Thursday morning.
Multiple crews arrived on the scene of a two-vehicle wreck on Highway 20 at State Docks Road when they discovered an overturned vehicle.
Officers say they located the driver of the overturned vehicle in a nearby creek.
The driver was transported to Decatur-Morgan Hospital where he was pronounced dead around 1:30 p.m.
Authorities are not identifying the driver at this time.
