ARAB, Ala. (WAFF) - Arab students will join many others in north Alabama in online learning next week.
All Arab City Schools will transition to distance learning for the remainder of the semester, beginning Monday, December 14th.
School officials made the announcement on a Facebook post Wednesday.
School officials say the decision comes after an increase of positive COVID-19 cases in the area.
Superintendent Johnny Berry says right now they have 23 positive cases in the school district and 132 people in quarantine. School are slated to return on January 5, 2021.
Additionally, all after school activities are cancelled.
