ATHENS, Ala. (WAFF) - The Athens Post Office was back open Monday morning after a car wreck on Saturday damaged the building.

That’s according to our news partners at the News Courier.

Athens Police Chief Floyd Johnson told the News Courier a woman ran into the side of the building Saturday morning. The wreck damaged the front of the building and left a hole in the side used for customer service.

Johnson said no one was hurt.
