HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - One student’s basketball skills made a big difference for the Huntsville Inner City Learning.
During a charity fundraiser at Randolph School Thursday night, Bridgeworth Financial promised $10,000 if someone made a half-court shot.
Randolph student Curtis Cooper stepped up to the challenge. The junior missed the first two baskets but scored on his third try.
The five-figure donation now goes to the learning center.
