NEW HOPE, Ala. (WAFF) - After surrounding a New Hope home for more than seven hours Friday, police took a murder suspect into custody.

Huntsville police say 26-year-old Haley League was arrested on a murder warrant. They were tipped off to her whereabouts and found her at a home on Ed Spears Road Friday afternoon. Officers say she refused to come out until late that night.

League is charged with the murder of Gilbert Estrada. His body was found in an alley in the 3000 block of 7th Avenue earlier this month.
