Huntsville Hospital getting 2nd therapy dog

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - A second therapy dog will soon roam the halls of Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children to comfort patients.

The hospital brought in a service dog named Asteroid in July. Hospital officials say she’s such a bit hit and patient volume is growing so much that a second comfort canine is on the way.

The second dog is being brought in thanks to a $70,000 grant from PetSmart Charities.
