LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. (WAFF) - A Lauderdale County woman has been charged with capital murder after allegedly shooting and killing her ex Wednesday morning.

54-year-old Peggy Sue Hall is being held in the Lauderdale County Detention Center without bond.

Deputies say they got a call around 8:30 a.m. saying someone was going door-to-door with a gun around County Road 130.

When they got to the scene, they found Randell Bobo dead inside his home after suffering gunshot wounds.

Deputies say they immediately took Hall in for questioning following.

Investigators say Hall did not confess, however, there was enough evidence to bring charges.

“The investigators tirelessly worked the scene up until just a little while ago. The suspect refused to give a statement, but based on the evidence that was found at the scene and the other statements taken at the scene, she was charged,” said Chief Deputy Richard Richey.
