Guntersville City School board considers bonds for elementary schools

GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - The city school board in Guntersville wants to make renovations to Guntersville Elementary School and Cherokee Elementary School.

The school boards are considering using bonds to raise more than $13 million dollars to pay for the construction.

The current rates are about 3 percent. A 30 year term would translate to about $700,000 a year.
