HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Skies will remain mostly clear for the rest of your Saturday evening with muggy temperatures in the middle 60s by daybreak Sunday.
Sunday will start off with sunshine and breezy southwest winds, this will boost temperatures into the upper 80s before more clouds move in from the west. Scattered downpours and thunderstorms capable of producing brief gusty winds will develop into the afternoon hours, the greatest threat will be west of Interest 65. Showers and storms will come to an end before midnight.
Spotty rain showers will be possible for the morning commute on Monday followed by rapidly clearing skies and sunshine, highs will be in the middle to upper 80s. Tuesday will be a hotter day in the lower 90s with mostly sunny skies, a stray rain shower will be possible.
The heat and humidity will really ramp up by Wednesday through Friday with near record highs in the low to mid 90s forecast, the heat index will be in the upper 90s some afternoon.
Next weekend will stay hot in the 90s with isolated showers and thunderstorms possible.
