Hartselle woman facing chemical endangerment of a child, manslaughter charges

SOMERVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - A search of a home in Somerville resulted in the arrest of two people.

Deputies with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office took 32-year-old Britney Ball, of Hartselle, into custody after that search. She was arrested on a felony warrant of Chemical Endangerment of a Child and Manslaughter charges.

Ball was booked into the Cullman County Sheriff's Office without bond.

Deputies also took Shawn Holder into custody during this search. He was arrested on a misdemeanor traffic warrant with the Priceville Police Department.

Holder was booked into the Morgan County Jail.

Right now, it’s unclear what led deputies to begin this search.
