(WAFF) - A few scattered showers made it into northwest Alabama this morning, but rain chances will be limited until after noon.
This afternoon, especially for those west of I-65, the rain will track in from the west and a few strong storms could be possible with the threat for damaging winds. Highs will be in the upper 80s this afternoon.
Monday could have a few showers at the start of the day, but chances are small. By the afternoon, expect partly cloudy skies.
Much of the upcoming work week will be quiet, sunny, and hot. Highs will peak in the lower 90s much of the week and lows will fall near 70. Next weekend looks quiet with plenty of sunshine and plenty of heat.
