Huntsville home invasion robbery suspects arrested

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Huntsville Police have arrested two suspects they believe are responsible for two home invasion robberies.

Ashontai Wallace and Joshua Spriggens were both arrested Monday. Both suspects face robbery charges, Spriggens also faces a drug charge.

Police say the two suspects broke into homes on Shawmont Drive and Meridian Street and tied up victims inside. The suspects then allegedly demanded money, drugs, clothing, and jewelry. Police say the suspects also stole at least one gun.

Wallace and Spriggens were arrested Monday by drug task force agents. Those agents followed the suspects home from a local Wal-Mart and made the arrests. Police say they found one-quarter pound of marijuana in their vehicle. They also found stolen items in a home connected to the suspects on Indiana Street.
