MADISON, AL (WAFF) - The voice of the Rocket City Trash Pandas has a name that’s very familiar to baseball fans.
Josh Caray will call the play-by-plays on live radio broadcasts when games begin next April.
He is the son of the late Skip Caray, the longtime voice of the Atlanta Braves. He is also the grandson of another broadcast legend, Hall-of-Fame Cubs announcer, the late Harry Caray.
The Trash Pandas also announced the team has signed a three-year deal with Cumulus Media to broadcast all 140 home and away games on radio. Those games can be heard on AM at 730 Sports Radio and on FM at 103.9, “The UMP.”
