(WAFF) - Skies remain mostly clear overnight with low temperatures cool again in the low 50s.
Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with widely scattered rain showers and possibly some thunder moving in around lunchtime. These showers will stick around through the late evening and rainfall totals will be on the lighter side around 1/10th of an inch.
Some showers may linger into Thursday morning, but skies will clear into the afternoon leaving us mostly sunny and warmer. Highs will be in the middle 80s.
Things will get more muggy by Friday with sunny skies and highs near 90 degrees.
The weekend looks OK for now but hot. Highs will be in the upper 80s both days with scattered thunderstorms moving in by Sunday afternoon. The temperature outlook for mid to late may is looking more summer-like with highs staying in the 80s to low 90s.
