Happy Wednesday! A much warmer start to the day out there and we’ll see plenty of warmth this afternoon.
Some spots are waking up to patchy fog this morning, otherwise skies across to Tennessee Valley are starting off mostly clear to partly cloudy. Temperatures are into the low to mid 50s for most this morning with a few spots into the upper 50s. As we go throughout the day today it will be very similar to Tuesday: Some passing clouds, plenty of sunshine, a light south wind, and temperatures into the low to mid 80s. It does look like it will be a nice and warm day today however, things change for the end of the week.
Expecting a storm chances to pick upper later in the day on Thursday. Better chances for rain will move in during the afternoon and into the evening. Nothing is expected to be severe, but I do expect some spots to see some sizable rain totals as these storms come through. The best chance for showers and storms will overnight in the early parts of Friday. Friday morning does look wet to start, but we will dry out quickly by the afternoon, leaving to a gorgeous day with temperatures back into the mid-70s.
A quick look at your weekend shows a nice sunny and dry stretch of weather. Temperatures will be into the mid to upper 70s and low 80s, both days as will see a mix of sun and clouds. Should be a great weekend for all those events like Panoply and Talladega.
