Huntsville Police Officer and his dog win at USPCA Dog Trials in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WAFF) - A Huntsville Police officer and his partner are showing strong at the USPCA Dog Trials in Chattanooga.

Officer Gibbs and his K9 won the PD1 part of the trials which coverS attack work, article searches, agility, obedience and person searches.

The USPCA is the nation’s oldest and largest Police K9 organization.

The organization certifies police dogs in a number of categories including General Patrol Dog use and Narcotic Detection which will be the two areas contested during the Field Trials in Chattanooga.

The USPCA breaks down the United States into various regions that participate and hold field trials each year.
