(WAFF) - A freeze warning is in effect tonight between the hours of 1 a.m. and 9 a.m.
We expect temperatures to drop into the upper 20s and lower 30s overnight tonight. The wind should remain from the north at 5-7 mph so we don’t expect a widespread frost but that could happen Tuesday night with a light wind and temperatures around 35. Cover your tender vegetation and keep an eye on your pets during this cold period of weather.
Afternoon highs return to the middle 50s Tuesday and many will see 60 degrees Wednesday afternoon.
Increasing clouds late Wednesday night could bring a few light passing showers through Thursday morning.
Temperatures get back to normal as we enter the weekend. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s with more humidity. Shower chances begin late Sunday and continue into the early part of next week.
