(WAFF) - We continue to track the possibility of some isolated, strong storms Monday night into Tuesday morning as a cold front moves through. These storms will produce heavy rainfall, frequent lightning and some gusty winds.
It looks like the line of rain and storms will move into NW Alabama between 3 a.m. and 8 a.m. and will progress eastward through the morning hours.
Rain and storm chances will decrease by lunchtime on Tuesday with clearing skies overnight,
Wednesday morning temperatures will be chilly in the 30s.
Mostly sunny skies will prevail on Wednesday with seasonal highs in the middle 50s. Rain showers will return for Valentine’s Day night on Thursday with highs staying in the 50s.
Another cold front will bring scattered rain showers and a few thunderstorms through on Friday. Next weekend is trending a bit cooler with highs in the 40s/50s and chilly lows in the 20s and 30s.
