HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - CNN’s Impact Your World segment contains five people they feel are among the most inspiring in the country. And two Alabamians are on that list.

One is Rodney Smith, who started Raising Men Lawn Care Service in Huntsville. He tours the country mowing lawns for the elderly, disabled and others who need help. And he does it all for free.

His goal is to mow lawns in all 50 states.

When the holidays rolled around, Smith dressed as Santa and gave gifts to the homeless, including sleeping bags, tents, and hygiene products.

Also on CNN’s list is a 4-year-old in Hoover. Austin Perine’s mission is to travel the country feeding the homeless.

Austin says he wants to help keep the homeless from being hungry and to spread love across the country. He even wears a superhero cape and “Make America Show Love Again” hat while doing it.
