RUSSELLVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Two women are charged with running an illegal day care in Russellville.
Eulalia Alonza Andres and Maria Francisco Tomas are charged with operating a day care without a license and 13 counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
The illegal daycare was being run out of a home on Franklin Street.
Investigators say they found several children ranging from infants to 2-years-olds.
Police say a school resource officer visited the Franklin Street home for unrelated reasons and found the infants and toddlers in car seats on the floor.
The Department of Human Resources is now involved. All children have been turned over to their parents
Tomas and Andres are both out of jail on bond.
