(WAFF) - Overnight lows will fall into the 30s.
A cold front will track through the area Friday morning. Friday will begin on a mostly quiet note with a few showers possible for our western counties, but during the evening showers are expected to crank up.
Widespread rain is anticipated to be ongoing through the weekend. Saturday has the highest rain coverage with rain likely pouring all day. Rain coverage will decrease late Sunday.
Temperatures will be mainly above freezing this weekend, with lows in the mid to upper 30s and highs in the low to mid 40s. Forecast models still hint at the possibility for a wintry mix possible early Monday morning. Monday's high may not make it out of the 30s as cold air pours in from the north.
Next Tuesday brings back dry and sunny weather. Highs rise into the upper 40s. The next shot for showers will likely be next Thursday and Friday.
