HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - An Elkmont man who was recently released from the Limestone County Jail on bond after burglarizing several storage units was arrested again on Wednesday with his father for allegedly attempting to steal a vehicle belonging to the Limestone County Commission.

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office tells us 29-year-old George Morris Pylant, Jr. (“Booger”) and his father 49-year-old George Morris Pylant, Sr. are both facing charges of breaking and entering a vehicle and attempted theft.

The father and son are also being held in the Limestone County Jail on $5,000 bond each.

On Tuesday, Limestone County deputies and investigators responded to an attempted theft of a county-owned vehicle in the 16000 block of Shaw Road.

Investigators tell us they found that the 2006 Ford F-350 had nearly been stolen; the suspects had damaged the ignition while attempting to start the truck. Security footage of the incident helped investigators immediately identify the vehicle driven by the suspects.

George Pylant, Jr. (“Booger”) had been arrested November 13 for several burglaries to storage buildings in the East Limestone area. He was out on bond at the time of this incident.
