5 arrested in Owens Cross Roads drug raid

An investigator tells us they have seized a lot of ICE, guns and five people were arrested. They also found a meth lab.

OWENS CROSS ROADS, AL (WAFF) - The Madison County Sheriff’s Office conducted a drug raid on Byrd Drive in Owens Cross Roads on Wednesday morning.

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team executed a search warrant assisted by Madison SWAT.

Three males and two females were arrested and are all facing drug charges.

Those suspects are Norman Fischer, Jesse Geiger, Michael Lipscome, Britney Bump and Michelle Lipscomb.

Investigators tell us they believe they seized approximately 7 ounces of ICE, small packets of regular powder type meth, marijuana, $1,600 and several different prescription pills.

Two hand guns, one shot gun, and one shell of some kind of semi automatic gun that is not believed to be functional were also seized.

Investigators also seized several one pot meth labs and one of them was active when deputies arrived.
