10 people escape duplex fire on Cedar Avenue in Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Ten people escaped from a duplex fire on Cedar Avenue in Huntsville early Tuesday morning.
The fire, which involved a two-story home on Cedar Avenue and Bradley Street, began shortly after 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Huntsville police officers say that no one was injured in the fire. A dog, a small chihuahua, is listing as missing.
A resident of the home said he first noticed the fire coming from the front porch, when flames had already engulfed the home. He then yelled for everyone to get out.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
