MADISON, AL (WAFF) - Madison’s new minor league baseball team will continue to be an affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels.

BallCorps and the Angels just signed a four year player development contract, that runs through 2022.

The deal begins with the upcoming season with the Mobile Baybears franchise, which will be the last in South Alabama and will be in effect when the new North Alabama franchise starts play in Madison in 2020.
