Mother Nature should be more accommodating for your Labor Day compared to the weekend. Some patchy morning fog is possible. That will be followed by a mix of sun and clouds, but you should see more sun this afternoon than either day this weekend. The chance for rain isn't gone completely, but it is much lower than the last couple of days. We may see a stray shower or t'storm this afternoon, but nothing too widespread. It will be hotter than over the weekend. Highs should push into the lower 90s with a heat index in the mid to upper 90s. We'll see a few clouds tonight with lows in the lower 70s.
For the rest of the week, we're looking at our typical summer-time weather pattern. Highs will top out in the low to mid 90s with a heat index of 95-100. Scattered storms should develop on most afternoons. I don't expect anything as widespread as we saw over the weekend. A few of these afternoon storms could be on the stronger side…producing locally heavy rain and gusty winds. Wednesday through Friday should be the hottest days of the week with temperature getting slightly cooler for the weekend.
Have a nice day.
