Kids to Love honored with Emmy award

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences mid-south chapter has honored the Kids to Love Foundation with a presitigious Emmy Award.

Kids to Love was recognized in the Community Service category.

WAFF 48 News Anchor Lee Marshall is also Kids to Love's president and founder. She accepted the award during a ceremony in Nashville on January 24th.

Lee knows firsthand the value of finding permanent homes for foster children. She was placed with a Forever Family when she was just 6-weeks-old.

Kids to Love was recognized not only for finding permanent homes for nearly 200 foster children, but also for outreach programs such as providing Christmas gifts, school supplies and college scholarships for foster children.
