North Ala. man gets pardon from Bush

WASHINGTON (AP) - An Alabamian is among 14 people pardoned by President George W. Bush.

The White House announced the pardons late Monday.

On the latest pardon list is: Robert Earl Mohon Jr. of Grant, Ala., who was convicted of conspiracy to distribute marijuana.

Bush granted pardons to 14 individuals and commuted the prison sentences of two others whose misdeeds included dealing drugs, evading taxes, killing bald eagles or mishandling hazardous waste.
