New details on a drug raid that put 17 people behind bars in 24 hours.
Lauderdale County Deputies and Florence Police Officers targeted suspects at drug stores near Florence who were buying components for meth.
Others were arrested at a home in the Oakland community.
And two more were taken into custody in the Central Heights community.
But Sheriff Ronnie Willis credits a sting operation for resulting in nine of the 17 arrests, "A lot of other counties are putting stings up and catching people when they make their buys so we tried that yesterday and it worked."
