LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky defensive lineman Ventrell Jenkins loves Nashville, but he's not exactly fired up with the prospect of spending New Year's there again.
Jenkins said Monday that the Wildcats can't be satisfied with becoming bowl eligible after last week's 14-13 win over Mississippi State. Kentucky improved to 6-3 with the win and is now 2-3 in the SEC.
It's the first time in more than 50 years the Wildcats have been bowl eligible for three straight years.
Kentucky ended the last two seasons with wins in the Music City Bowl in Nashville.
Jenkins says he loves the city, but hopes the Wildcats can improve their bowl opportunities with wins in their last three games.
Kentucky hosts struggling 14th-ranked Georgia (7-2, 4-2) on Saturday.
