NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section has been inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame in Nashville.

The Alabama-based studio group formed in 1967 and played on hundreds of hit records made in Muscle Shoals.

They included Aretha Franklin's "Respect," Paul Simon's "Kodachrome," and Bob Seger "Old Time Rock and Roll."

Kid Rock joined members of the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section to perform "Old Time Rock and Roll" during the induction ceremony last night in Nashville.

Percy Sledge also joined the group to sing "When a Man Loves a Woman."
