Survey: Gas prices continue sharp decline

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - A national survey shows gas prices continue to decline, tumbling a dollar a gallon in the past month.

The national average price of a gallon of regular gasoline is $2.66 Monday.

According to AAA Alabama, the statewide average for regular is $2.63 - 4 cents less than Sunday and a drop of $1.17 a gallon since last month.

The statewide average for midgrade is $2.78 while premium costs $2.83 a gallon.
