HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Huntsville is set to receive a visit from NASA Administrator Michael Griffin.
The Tuesday visit is part of the schedule for a space agency symposium about the Ares rocket development.
The Wernher von Braun Memorial Symposium will be at the Von Braun Center Tuesday and Wednesday.
Griffin is set to be the featured speaker at lunch Tuesday.
The theme of the symposium is "Building on the Past to Power the Future."
Panel discussions and speakers will focus on the current state and future of space flight.
NASA plans to built two Ares rockets to replace the space shuttle to send crews to the International Space Station.
The agency hopes to eventually use the rockets for missions to the moon.
