BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - If you need gas, there's good news - prices at the pumps are still declining across Alabama.
AAA's daily survey finds regular unleaded averaged $3.84 a gallon - about two cents cheaper than Tuesday.
Nationally the price for regular is $3.71.
The price for midgrade and premium fuels also dipped 2 cents overnight to $4.01 and $4.12 a gallon, respectively.
Alabama and surrounding Southeastern states are facing gas supply shortages caused by storm-related refinery shutdowns on the Gulf Coast.
A look at metro areas finds Montgomery with the highest average price at $3.87 a gallon.
Mobile's $3.76 was the state's cheapest.
