Valley Man indicted on capital murder for Officer Freeman's death

A grand jury has indicted a Valley man accused of killing a Huntsville police officer.

The jury indicted Kenneth Shipp on charges of capital murder in the death of Officer Eric Freeman.

Freeman was shot to death in December of 2007 while working a DUI wreck with his partner.

The grand jury has ruled there's enough evidence to go to trial in this case.

No trial date has been set.
