Beginning on Friday, September 12, Honor Flight invites the public to come and see a C-47 and B-25 WWII aircraft from 3pm until 7pm. These aircraft are in Huntsville to be a part of the Honor Flag program which transports the military flags of deceased WWII veterans to the WWII memorial in Washington DC. The aircraft will be at Signature Aviation next to the Huntsville International Airport and which will be open to the public from 3 - 7 pm on Friday and from 8 - 10 am on Saturday.
At 5 pm on Friday, Honor Flight will conduct a Flag Ceremony where the military flags will be formally presented to the aircraft crew.
