BALTIMORE (AP) - The owner of a Baltimore-area swim club, home to Michael Phelps' practices, says Phelps will likely be involved in the business operations of the pool, although nothing has been finalized.
Phelps said Monday on NBC's "Nightly News" he and coach Bob Bowman had bought a pool in Baltimore.
Murray Stephens, owner of the Meadowbrook Aquatic Center and founder of the North Baltimore Aquatic Club, says the statement was premature, but Stephens says there have been business discussions with Phelps, although no details have been decided.
