The third Tennessee Valley Honor Flight has landed and it was a trip many will never forget.
Saturday, the community wished 122 World War II veterans a safe and memorable journey to our Nation's Capitol.
After a nice send-off, it was off to Washington. First stop, following a warm welcome by dozens of volunteers, was the World War II memorial. We also visited the women's memorial and watched the changing of the guard at Arlington Cemetery. The veterans also got to see the Marine Corps war memorial and the Korean war memorial.
