Vipers Lose Third Straight

(ESTORA, Fla.) - The Tennessee Valley Vipers dropped their first road game of the 2008 season to the Florida Firecats 62-47, Saturday night at the Germain Arena in Estora, Florida.

The Vipers night got off to a good start with Demetrius Derico picking off the first pass of the game from Firecats quarterback Chris Wallace.

The Firecats returned the favor two plays later when former Viper Carlos Campbell returned a Brent Dearmon interception 21 yards for the opening score of the game.

The Vipers and Firecats traded scores back and forth for much of the remainder of the game, and the Vipers got as close as eight points twice, but could never get the game back even, eventually losing 62-47.

The Vipers return home Saturday, April 19th to host the Louisville Fire at the VBC.
