Crew Carries Stars to Big Win

(MARYVALE, Ariz.) - Ryan Crew collected 3 hits and drove in 5 runs to carry the Huntsville Stars to a 9-2 win over the Frisco RoughRiders, the Texas Rangers' AA affiliate, Saturday in Arizona.

The Stars improved its spring record to 5-2 with a 4th straight victory.

The Stars piled up 7 extra-base hits, but Crew missed hitting for the cycle by failing to get a double.

Michael Brantley had four hits, scored four times and knocked in a run to help pace a 14-hit attack.

Mike Bell added two hits, including a double.

Derek Miller tossed 3 1/3 innings of no-hit relief.
