2 meth lab busts in 2 days in Franklin County.  The most recent involved a couple who still on the run tonight.

Around 4 yesterday, Franklin County Sheriff Deputies, raided a home on Morris Street in Phil Campbell.  The home was empty, but a recently used meth lab was found.

Aaron Deanglo Motes and Stephanie Helton have been charged in producing meth at their home.  Authorities are still searching for them tonight.  They have two young children, and are believed to still be in Franklin County.

It has been a busy week for the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.  On Monday, 9 individuals were arrested when a meth lab was found at a home on Block Church Road in Phil Campbell.  Those arrested include: Robert Campbell, Rodney Lindley, Jimmy Carroll, Jerry Mills, James Mashburn, Michelle Baker, Kimberly Baker, Daniel Brewer, and Brandon Pruitt.

One non-profit, faith-based organization in Russellville is trying to make a dent in the drug problem in the county.

Shawn Reathford, Director of the Russellville Dream Center, said, "You would not believe the calls we get on a daily basis, we are getting from 10 to 15 calls a day."

All these calls are from people suffering from some sort of drug abuse.

"Meth, crack, alcohol, you name it, we see it," said Reathford.

The Russellville Dream Center opened last year.  They take anyone in who needs help.

Brandon Ikerd, a former drug user, said, "I winded up going to jail, got into some trouble with my buddies, I asked God to come in my life."

The center hopes to help stop the problem of drug abuse in the county, and even help those arrested this week.

If you know where Aaron Motes or Stephanie Helton are, you are asked to contact the Franklin County Sheriff's Department.

To learn more about the Russellville Dream Center call director Shawn Reathford at 256-332-4732 or toll free at 888-448-4832.

You can also e-mail the center at russellvilledc@aol.com

Right now they have beds open for women or men.
