- 6A Boys Title
Hillcrest (Tuscaloosa) 47, Thompson 36
The 2nd-ranked Hillcrest Patriots (32-4) will make their first trip to the Final Four. A huge 22-8 1st quarter lead helped to counter a 13-0 run by Thompson in the 2nd quarter. A 9-2 run in the 3rd quarter became the key to Hillcrest's victory, as they never gave up the lead after that. Wayne Dedrick led Hillcrest with 16 points.

Russellville 67, Muscle Shoals 66
Russellville stretched their undefeated season to 30-0 using a balanced attack to defeat area rival Muscle Shoals for a trip to the Final Four. Three Russellville boys finished with 14 points, Jermaine Bates leading the trio with an additional 7 rebounds, and Cory Trapp added 10 points. Warrick Mastin (24 points) and Ralston Turner (19 points) did most of the work for Muscle Shoals who outshot their victorious opponents, 46.9% to 40.7%. Muscle Shoals had an 8-point lead with 2:47 remaining in the 1st quarter, but lost it on Bates' layup in the 2nd with 3:35 left.

Deshler 52, Haleyville 37
The Deshler Tiger boys punched their ticket to Birmingham for the 5th time in 6 years behind Chris Holland's 14 points. Kenyatta Abernathy added 13.

Winfield 68, Colbert County 63
Colbert County (9-20), trying to upset the 25-5 Pirates in a bid to get to the Final Four, came within five points of doing so. The Indians ran off four straight wins to get to the NW Regional Finals, but the Pirates delivered the final knockout blow in the final 30 seconds of the 3rd quarter when Winfield scored five straight points after Colbert County had pulled within one, 52-51. The Indians never got any closer. Collis McGee led the Indians with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Tournament MVP Robert Barnes and Alex Aultman scored 21 apiece for Winfield.

Tanner 69, Mars Hill 68
The Tanner Rattlers are heading back to Birmingham for the second year in a row after a thrilling overtime victory over the Panthers. Mars Hill led for most of the 4th quarter, but Tranerus Hines hit a three-pointer with less than 10 seconds remaining to send the game into overtime. Josh Pearson cut Tanner's lead by one with less than five seconds remaining in OT, but Tanner was able to inbound the ball and run out the clock for the win. Keith Shoulders led Tanner with 10 points and 14 rebounds. Latraius Mosley, the tournament MVP, led all scorers with 32 points.

Sulligent 62, Phillips 40
The Sulligent Blue Devils (28-3) withstood a 2nd half charge and earned a second trip to Birmingham, led by four players in double figures. Sulligent will play McIntosh, the 1A South Regional winner. Logan Humbers led the Blue Devils with 17 points.
