The Wildcats were 2-for-20 shooting beyond the perimeter.
4A Girls NW Semi-Finals Deshler 66, Ardmore 46 Two Tigers in a cage match, but Deshler got the best of this one, getting off to a quick start, as full court pressure resulted in too many turnover points for the Ardmore Tigers to recover. 4A Girls NW Semi-Finals Brooks 71, Lawrence County 67 Callie McCluskey went 5-for-5 beyond the arc and sank two free throws to make it a two-possession game with less than a minute left as the Brooks Lions (17-15) advanced to the title game in their first-ever regional trip. McCluskey finished with 23 points.
4A Boys NW Semi-Finals Deshler 58, Madison County 45 The Madison County Tigers (22-11), last year's 4A Northwest champs, chased Deshler all night, twice failed to tie them in the 4th quarter before finally running out of steam. Cordarius Cross got them within two, 45-43 with 2:31 left, but that's as close as Madison County got. Brent Lloyd and Chris Holland led Deshler (23-6) with 15 points.
4A Boys NW Semi-Finals Haleyville 59, East Lawrence 49 The Lions (17-10) built an early lead and held off a late charge by East Lawrence to move on to Saturday's title match against Deshler.
