  • 3A Girls NW Semi-Finals
Lauderdale County 51, Good Hope 38
The Lady Tigers (29-7) used an aggressive defense to hold Good Hope to just three points in the 3rd quarter while sprinting to a 14-point lead. Kiara Young led Lauderdale County with 15 points. Tosha Thornton added 14.
  • 3A Girls NW Semi-Finals
    Elkmont 55, Danville 32

  • 3A Boys NW Semi-Finals
Colbert County 46, Good Hope 36
The Colbert County Indians pulled off one of the largest upsets of the regionals, knocking off the Raiders. Collis McGee led the Indians with 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. The Indians play Winfield on Saturday.
  • 3A Boys NW Semi-Finals
    Winfield 58, West Limestone 35
Robert Barnes scored 18 points and Zack Townley added 14 to lead the Pirates (25-5) over the West Limestone Wildcats. West Limestone led by three with 2:09 left in the 1st half, but Winfield opened up the offense when the teams returned, outscoring their opponents, 35-14 in the 2nd half.  The Wildcats were 2-for-20 shooting beyond the perimeter.
  • 4A Girls NW Semi-Finals
    Deshler 66, Ardmore 46
Two Tigers in a cage match, but Deshler got the best of this one, getting off to a quick start, as full court pressure resulted in too many turnover points for the Ardmore Tigers to recover. Tamisha Whitson led the Deshler Tigers with 20 points while Brittany Miles led three Ardmore girls in double figures.
  • 4A Girls NW Semi-Finals
    Brooks 71, Lawrence County 67
Callie McCluskey went 5-for-5 beyond the arc and sank two free throws to make it a two-possession game with less than a minute left as the Brooks Lions (17-15) advanced to the title game in their first-ever regional trip. McCluskey finished with 23 points.
  • 4A Boys NW Semi-Finals
    Deshler 58, Madison County 45
The Madison County Tigers (22-11), last year's 4A Northwest champs, chased Deshler all night, twice failed to tie them in the 4th quarter before finally running out of steam. Cordarius Cross got them within two, 45-43 with 2:31 left, but that's as close as Madison County got. Brent Lloyd and Chris Holland led Deshler (23-6) with 15 points.
  • 4A Boys NW Semi-Finals
    Haleyville 59, East Lawrence 49
The Lions (17-10) built an early lead and held off a late charge by East Lawrence to move on to Saturday's title match against Deshler. The Eagles cut Haleyville's lead to three twice in the 4th quarter, but the Lions' Jarrod Evans went 6-for-6 from the line to keep Haleyville, in their first regional appearance, in the lead. Evans led the Lions with 17 points.
