Havoc Sign Two After Placing Bushey, Buccella on Injured List

(HUNTSVILLE) - The Huntsville Havoc have placed forwards Dan Buccella and Craig Bushey on injured reserve and signed two players.

Buccella and Bushey were injured in Huntsville's win last Thursday over the Columbus Cottonmouths. Buccella injured his right knee in a 3rd period pile-up into the net while Bushey pulled a groin muscle.

To fill their spots, coach John Gibson has signed forwards Tristan Fairbarn and Greg Hargett to contracts.

Fairbarn (5'7", 170) had one assist in 9 appearances in the CHL for the Texas Brahmas and Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs. In 43 games at R.I.T. from 2005-2007, he scored 6 goals and recorded 11 assists.

Haggett (5'11", 190) played one year for the Morrisville State College team that won the 2004 Division III National Championship. He played in 26 games and scored 38 points.

The Havoc are in Jacksonville, Thursday, then play Columbus and Knoxville on successive days this week. Their next home game will be February 2 vs. Columbus.
