(TUSCALOOSA) - All-SEC Alabama center and team captain Antoine Caldwell has made his decision to forego the NFL draft, and stay put at Tuscaloosa next season.
The Montgomery native's decision is a boost for the Crimson Tide's offensive line, where he started at three positions as a junior.
Head coach Nick Saban says he was the only Tide junior who explored his status with the NFL after this season.
Caldwell, who has already earned his undergraduate degree, says an NFL advisory committee said he would likely be no better than a 3rd round choice.
